Crazy day yesterday in so many ways!! Anyway, I’m thinking about getting a dedicated TT bike. Do you think the increase in efficiency is worth it? And specifically, is $1350 a good price for an ’08 Cervelo P2SL? I have the option of layaway till Spring too.

For now I’ll start by saying I did finally complete a time-trial (five actually) with my last TT time being 29:20 which is a lifetime PR. What a difference riding a higher tire pressure makes. I went for 100 to 120 psi for the last one.
Here are all of my times.
#1 – 22 JUL 2008 – 31:23
#2 – 29 JUL 2008 – 31:11
#3 – 5 AUG 2008 – 30:10 (that’s a minute and one second faster)
#4 – 9 SEP 2008 – 30:37 (it was a slow night anyway and I took a month off)
#5 – 16 SEP 2008 – 29:20 (what a difference a little extra air makes)
Now I just have to take 6 or 7 more minutes off this and I’ll be number one in the fleet. That’s what I have to look forward to next year.
